The Challenge

Reach Ireland asked us to create a fresh brand identity and launch campaign for Buzz to help them stand out in the digital world. With a unique news concept, the team wanted us to create a highly recognisable brand that would feel modern and appealing both on and offline.

Our Approach

With the aim to both entertain and inform their readers, we developed a new brand identity to position Buzz as the home of high-quality news. The positioning statement ‘Content for the curious’ was created to reflect both the depth of the news stories on offer and the type of people they wanted to reach with them. To bring the brand to life visually, we refined the logo to make it more legible and extracted the quotation marks within it to create a bold graphic styling. For the launch of the brand, we created a series of animations and graphics before rolling them out across social media and YouTube adverts.
